Stan started his career 35 years ago as a computer programmer. He studied at Manchester Polytechnic and achieved a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Science. In later life he trained in Network Design and TCP/IP. In 1985 he became a Certified Systems Engineer. He has worked for many Blue Chip companies including Citibank, Pfizer and Orange on major network infrastructures and Wide Area Networks. He became freelance in 2001 and his clients included Norfolk County Council, Norfolk Constabulary and the Metropolitan Police. In 2006 he decided to take things a little easier and now focuses on clients a bit closer to home.
